About us

Welcome to the website of the 23rd Limerick Scouts- Caherdavin. We’re a very active Scout Group based on the northside of Limerick, Ireland. The Group was founded in 1973 The Group comprises of a Beaver Colony, Cub Pack,  Scout Troop and a Venture Scout Unit supported by a team of dedicated Adult Volunteers. We are members of Scouting Ireland, based in Limerick Scout County.

Aims

Scouting Ireland is a voluntary, uniformed, non-formal educational movement for young people. The aim of Scouting is to encourage the Social, Physical, Intellectual, Character, Emotional, and Spiritual development of young people so that they may achieve their full potential and, as responsible citizens, to improve society. We do this through the Scout Method.
