The following is the basic gear list given out to Scouts at the Start of the Year

• Day Bag (25-35 Ltr)
• Overnight Rucksack (65 Ltr)
• Hiking Boots
• Head Torch (always bring spare batteries)
• Warm Hat
• Gloves
• Rain Gear – Jacket & Over Trousers
• Sleeping bag (recommended 3-season)
• Ground Mat or Thermarest
• Bivy Bag
• Cutlery – plate, bowl, mug, knife, fork, spoon
• Personal First Aid Kit
• Water bottle (at least 1ltr)
• Gaiters
